Shachar, Or

Was born on August 6, 1985 in Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, where he grew up and acquired his education and education from the infants’ home through kindergarten, elementary school and high school until he finished 12th grade at the local high school “Shikma”. Yad Mordechai’s educational system emphasized the values of “the kibbutz of yesteryear” – a lot of freedom, a little formalism, the value of equality between human beings, natural values and the history of Yad Mordechai and the Land of Israel and a lot of Zionism. The middle brother and the youngest seagull, with a lot of warmth and love, emphasized the values of consideration for others and fairness, and gave a great deal of attention to the activity in nature and the importance of holidays and holidays. Or Beger was a decent, gentle, considerate, modest and shy person who does not easily share his feelings, but once he is released, he emerges as a social man full of humor and joie de vivre , And his insatiable soul and insatiable curiosity were expressed in a wide variety of pursuits, ranging from literature and cinema, through various computer activities, to engaging in football and the stubborn cultivation of physical fitness, and to entertainment with friends at various entertainment sites throughout the country. His attraction to literature and film did not prevent him from developing considerable technical skills in the field of operating computers and so on in the military professions of the army.In August 2004, Orr enlisted in the IDF and began his service in the Engineering Corps. From the point of view of his contacts with people and subjects of professional expertise, he was able to join the army. Acquaintance with new people and a new reality and the obligation to meet the requirements of the women’s professions exposed slowly and confident abilities that were in the light and awaited germination. Despite his gentleness, shyness and modesty, and despite his seemingly fragile physical structure, light was integrated into the rough and demanding army life, and he slowly and steadily acquired the affection and esteem of his friends and commanders. The meetings with the young men and women he had just met, with whom he had gone out for security activities and entertainment, revealed to him how much he loved life and his natural shyness only concealed it. When he arrived on vacations, he was “assaulted” by everything he was allowed to do during his short vacation. He would read and eat at the same time, watch television and organize an outing with friends for recreation or a football game at the same time, sleeping a little, and short – restless. As if his Lev had revealed to him that he had not had much time left… Or had already begun planning the life after liberation, but it was only the beginning of searching for a way. He thought about filmmaking, tried, without our knowledge, to write a story and a script, but his main thoughts and preoccupations were still related to the military service he loved and which he had in mind when the Second Lebanon War broke out. Or went out to an action from which he did not return with the same intention that he fulfilled the duty of his entire military service – with willingness, understanding of necessity and bad feelings for his fellow fighters. From the stories of his friends after the battle, we learned of his determination, his professional abilities, and the courage that even we had nurtured and nurtured so intimately, we did not know. Before the light of the eleventh day of Av 5766 (5.8.2006), light fell in the war and he was twenty-one years old. After his fall, he was promoted to First Sergeant. Or was laid to rest in the hand of Mordecai, where he was born, grew up and became a cute young man. On his tombstone were engraved the words: “Our beloved, our flower, even to open up will not be given to you.” Our dear and beloved son fell before he could realize even a little of the potential of light and happiness that was abundantly embodied in him and waited for a moment of spectacular breakthrough. His downfall is a terrible loss for us. We loved him and we love him and miss him and he lacks everythingso. And we have a hard time digesting our final separation from it to regroup in a world where our Orik is not. The Shahar family in Yad Mordechai – Shahaf, Ofer, Yona and Yossi.
