Shabbat, Yehuda

Son of Yitzhak and Esther. He was born on September 9, 1939 in Casablanca, Morocco, where he completed his elementary studies. In 1964 he immigrated with his family to Israel. Yehuda was drafted into the IDF in mid-January 1967, and after his discharge from regular army service he went to reserve duty, and was called to reserve duty at the end of March 1970. On April 18, 1970, six days before the end of his reserve service , Fell in an attack on an enemy plane in Sinai and was brought to rest in the Ramle cemetery, leaving a wife and five children.
