Ayas was born in the village of Mughar on 13 October 1980. 2.12.2010 A forest fire was burned on Mount Caramel, And millions of trees were set on fire, and only three days later the fire forgot, and in the hours following the outbreak of the fire, strong winds blew the flames, which quickly spread to the Hik River, the Har Alon reserve, Damon Prison, Shukf Mountain and Kibbutz Beit Oren. It was decided to evacuate prisoners from the Damon Prison, followed by the Carmel Prison, where officers and policemen who blocked the traffic arteries, fire fighters of the Firefighters and Rescue Service, and cadets and instructors of the IPS Officers’ Course participated in the first round. At 15:30, the cadet bus moved between ancient quarries and Beit Oren, followed by police cars. Suddenly the wind changed its direction and began to send tongues of burning fire toward the bus, huge walls of fire blocking the traffic artery, holding on to everything and making every shred of life at top speed. Forty-four men and women perished in the fire. Thirty-seven of them were cadets of the prison officers’ course and the course’s commanders, the bus driver, three firemen and three police officers. Ayas was thirty years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in the village of Mughar. Survived by a wife and two sons.
