Ben Salameh and Afif. He was born on 27.9.1972 in the village of Rama. Wassam attended the school in Rameh and went on to the village high school. He used to practice karate and reached the last belt before a black belt. His hobby was imitation and he could only see or hear to imitate speech or motion, in the most successful way. In mid-November 1990, Wassam was drafted into the Border Police. Over time, he had medical problems and was transferred to the IDF and assigned to transport transport transport. His unit stood out as having high, dedicated and responsible personal data. On October 25, 1992, he fell in a battle in Lebanon. While carrying out an operational mission, transporting soldiers in a safari truck in the security zone, a roadside bomb was detonated from an ambush of terrorists and hit his truck. He was buried in the cemetery in the village of Rama. He left behind his parents, a brother – Husam and two sisters – to Miss and Dalal. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the Minister of Defense wrote: “Please allow me to participate in your mourning. And Sam was a quality soldier. He volunteered to perform varied tasks, maintained a social atmosphere and helped many of his friends. And Sam showed remarkable professionalism and courage. His commander in the unit wrote: “His courage, his dedication, the good atmosphere that prevailed around him all made him a beloved and beloved soldier among his comrades and commanders.”
