Serbagil, Hai (Haim)


Son of Machlouf and Torza. Born in Arbil, Iraq, in 1928. Graduated from elementary school, immigrated to Israel in 1951 with his parents and was drafted into the IDF in June 1951. He was a member of Tahal (Water Planning for Israel). After his regular service, he was called up for reserve duty from time to time and took part in the Sinai Campaign, and at the outbreak of the Six-Day War called to reserve duty, and on the second day On May 6, 1967, he fell in a battle in Jabel Livni, Sinai, while on a reconnaissance mission along the enemy positions in anticipation of the attack on the brigade.
