Seperstein, Pesach


Son of-Nechama and Yitzhak, was born in 1928 in the city of Baranowicze, Poland. He managed to study in an elementary school, and during the outbreak of World War II the horrors of the war went through him. As a young man, he participated in partisan activities and was privileged to remain alive and to witness the defeat of the Nazis. At the end of the war he followed the path of immigration, arrived in a camp in Germany, and studied the profession of frames. Pesach immigrated to Israel in 1946 on the “Katriel Yaffe” and settled in Holon, where he worked in his profession. At the outbreak of the War of Independence, he joined the army and served in the Givati ​​Brigade. On October 19, 1948, at the time of the sixth attack on the Iraq-Suiden police, a fragment of a cannon shell hit his Lev and he fell into a void. He was laid to rest at the Warburg military cemetery.
