Semict, Menachem

Son of Moshe and Sarah. He was born in Petach Tikvah on 26 January 1939. He completed his studies at an elementary school in Kfar Haroeh and studied at the Mikveh Israel Agricultural School. He belonged to the Bnei Akiva movement. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1956, and about six months later, on the 20th of Sivan 5707 (June 20, 1957), he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the cemetery in Kfar Haroeh. The father immortalized the name of his son in the same name in the eulogy book in the institution of the “Education Center for the Children of Israel” in Jerusalem.
