Selma, David


Son of Esther and Ezra. He was born in Haifa on June 17, 1966. He studied at the Romema Elementary School and completed his studies in the biological track at the Reali high school in his hometown In late July 1979, To. At the end of basic training he was assigned to serve in the Armored Corps and underwent professional courses as a tank driver. His commanders admired him as an introverted soldier, distinguished in his behavior, devoted, disciplined and responsible, with a pleasant smile lighting up his face. After graduating from the IDF, David studied chemistry at the Technion in Haifa and completed his bachelor’s degree, where he married Miriam and established a home in Haifa, where his daughter Lior was born, and David continued to serve in his reserve unit as a tank driver and was awarded the War of Galilee Medal for his part in the war. 1987 David was called to reserve duty and during his service, on the 22nd of Av 5787 (August 22, 1987), fell during his service, was twenty-six years old and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, , Parents and two sisters – Thelma and Ofra.
