Seletky, Chaim-Avraham

Chaim Avraham, son of Shifra and Shmuel Seletky, was born in 1928, in Jerusalem, to an old Jerusalemite family. He devoted himself to the underground Irgun, which fought for Hebrew sovereignty. When the siege of Jerusalem began, he was already drafted into the ranks of the defenders. He fell on the 27th of Iyar (5.6.1948) and was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
