He was born in 1955 in Morocco, and immediately after his birth his family immigrated to Israel and settled in Ofakim, where he began his studies at the elementary school in Ofakim and later went on to study at Bialik Elementary School, In Yavneh, he completed his studies at the vocational high school in Yavneh, where he worked as a metalworker in Yavneh and at the refineries in Ashdod, and helped to support his family with a large number of people. Avraham was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of May 1973 and assigned to the Artillery Corps. He was a dedicated soldier and was skilled in his profession and loyal to his position. Due to these qualities, his commanders appreciated him and was accepted by his comrades in the unit.
