Segev, Ze’ev


Ben Chaya and Yechezkel was born on March 17, 1926. After the establishment of the State of Israel, Ze’ev continued to serve in the IDF until the end of the fighting, and in July 1948 he was sent to a weapons course, completed the course and served as a weapon in the IDF for over thirty years. In January 1950, Ze’ev completed his service in the regular army and volunteered to serve in the regular army, in the Ordnance Corps. He was promoted to the rank of master sergeant and was employed as a guide, and over the years Ze’ev underwent training and courses such as weapons plowing, an antiaircraft gun, five tank turrets and light weapons. In June 1975, Ze’ev was transferred to the rank of lieutenant and was promoted to the rank of captain.In his position as an armament expert, IDF procurement. On September 8, 1979, at his home, Ze’ev suddenly died of a heart attack. He was 53 years old when he died. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul in Tel Aviv. Ze’ev left behind a wife, three sons and a daughter. After his death, he was promoted to Major.
