Segal, Yehoshua-Nathan


Yehoshua-Natan, son of Tzipora and Yosef Segal, was born on May 5, 1927 in Tel Aviv, and after graduating from high school, he learned the framework profession, was a member of Maccabi in Tel Aviv and active in the Haganah. After the United Nations Resolution on November 29, 1947, Yehoshua-Natan volunteered for the army and served in the Givati ​​Brigade. He participated in the defense of the Hatikva neighborhood, near Tel Aviv, and in the battles in the south. Yehoshua-Natan fell on a mine in the village of Salameh on the 26th of Iyar 5708 (June 4, 1948) and was brought to eternal rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery. He was 21 when he died.
