Segal, Shmuel

Born in 1897 in Russia. Was a farmer and a land worker and emigrated from Russia to Palestine via Romania. He joined the Haganah and participated in the defense of Jews during the riots on the Jaffa-Tel Aviv border, and on the 23rd of Nissan (May 1, 1921) he fell on guard duty and was buried in a mass grave in the old cemetery in Tel Aviv.
