Schwarzberg, David (Dov)
David (Dov), son of Shoshana and Dov, was born on 12 August 1924 in Jerusalem, where he studied at the elementary school in Ramat Hasharon and later continued his high school studies on Max Payne was born in Tel Aviv and was a diligent and active man who hated idleness and always wanted to work in. In the middle of May 1948 he was drafted into the IDF and assigned to the Ordnance Corps. After the end of the War of Independence, he completed a basic officers’ course of the Ordnance Corps and was appointed as a quartermaster and transportation officer. After the Six-Day War he received a certificate of exemption from military service for reasons of age and was assigned to serve in the Haganah, but he refused to do so and began the struggle to return to reserve duty. “After the Sinai Campaign, he was given a” Chinese sign. “When the Yom Kippur War broke out, he was conscripted and stationed in northern Sinai, when the Egyptians bombed the camp he had served there, and he miraculously escaped.
