Schwarz, Edward (“Eddie”)

Son of Yona and Serena. Born in Bucharest, Romania on June 16, 1950. His family immigrated to Israel in 1961. When he arrived in Israel, Edward continued his elementary studies at the PICA School and the Ahad Ha’am High School in Petah Tikva and received his matriculation certificate. The principal of the high school noted him as “a diligent, organized boy who was willing to carry out tasks that were imposed upon him, he was respected by his friends and very well liked by his teachers. Eddie played the violin and studied at the Tel Aviv Academy of Music. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in mid-November 1969, but still serving in the regular army, he was hospitalized and more than six months later, on the 27th of Iyar 5732 (27.4.1972), he died in his illness.
