Schwartz, Ze’ev (Willy)

Schwartz, Ze’ev (Willy)

The only son of Akiva and Yocheved. He was born on the 16th of Cheshvan, October 30, 1947, in Botoshny, Romania, and immigrated to Israel with his family, in 1959. He studied at the PICA elementary school in Petach Tikvah, and then decided to study architecture, in order to earn a living from this profession. He began to work in a construction company, and was very successful. His fine qualities, diligence, and dedication to work, were a name and a glory to all who knew him. He continued to study, this time at the radio and electronics school “Yaad”, out of his desire to complete the pre-exams, in order to take the Matriculation exams. He was preparing to continue his studies at a higher school, perhaps at the Technion. But all his dreams were in vain. On the 5th of Iyar, April 23, 1969, he died, and was brought to rest in the military cemetery, in Kiryat Shaul.
