Schwartz, Jacob

Son of Shaul and Devorah. He was a member of Kibbutz Be’eri and was drafted into the IDF in July 1952. On Tu B’Av Kislev, (November 22, 1953), in the course of his duties, fell and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Kfar Saba. A week later, his kibbutz devoted one of his diaries to his memory, which included memoirs about him. The kibbutz also published a booklet in “Thirty” and even the anniversary of his death.
