Schwartz, Eran
Son of Iris and Michael. He was born on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, September 26, 1984, at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Eran was born after two sisters who died and at birth gave the greatest joy that can be described to the entire family, especially his older brother Yuval, 11 years his senior. His cousin, Nava, says: “In our very small family, you were the youngest and most special, and when you were born I was no longer the youngest in the family, the job passed to you, a charming baby with blue eyes. And adds his cousin, Oded: “His smiling blue eyes were so inquisitive, just like his name.” Until his enlistment in the IDF, Eran studied psychometric tests, worked as a guard at security companies and in every job he had, and he was very happy to be close to people and not to be idle at home until the induction. In March 2003 he was drafted into the IDF, the Armored Corps, and at the end of basic training he fulfilled his dream and successfully completed a combat paramedics course.On the 12th of Cheshvan 5764 (6.11.2003) Eran fell during his service at the age of nineteen. He is buried on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, was survived by his parents and brother, and Eran’s parents write: “We will always remember him with his charming smile and glittering eyes.”
