Schwartz, a lion


Son of Nati and Shmuel, was born on the 17th of Tammuz 5705 (17.6.1945) in the city of Iasi, Romania, where he attended elementary school and finished 11th grade in high school. In 1962 he immigrated to Israel with his family and lived in Upper Nazareth, where he studied at the Technical College of the Ordnance Corps, where he was drafted into the IDF at the end of November 1963, and was assigned to the Ordnance Corps. His commanders sent him to a Hebrew language course and then successfully completed a course in a car mechanic and worked in one of the corps workshops. Aryeh did his best. He was promoted to corporal and when his time came out of compulsory service his behavior was noted as very good. His commanders estimated that Aryeh “fulfilled his duties to the satisfaction of his superiors.” At the end of May 1966 Aryeh was released from compulsory service and began working for the company for plumbing, water and sewage in Upper Nazareth. He married and the couple had a daughter and a son. Every year he was called up for reserve duty and was loyally filled. Among other things, he took part in the Yom Kippur War, was awarded the operational service certificate, and served as a car examiner in a civilian garage that provides services to the IDF. At the end of July 1977, Aryeh accepted the command of his commanders and volunteered for a career army service, and was later certified as a garage manager. With professional knowledge, manages his work in the department wisely, with dedicated care both in the vehicle and under his subordinates. ” Ink was also reflected in the promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant. On YH Bayer Tsm”d (05/19/1984) fell Master Sergeant Leo during his service and was laid-rest at the military cemetery in Nazareth. He left a wife, daughter, son and mother.
