Schusterman, Isaiah (Xia)
Son of Sarah and Aryeh (Leib) was born on February 15, 1929, in the city of Brijen, Romania, where he studied in an elementary school and later began working in the baking profession. And with the rest of the Jews he was deported to Transnistria, managed to escape from there and return to Romania, and from there immigrated to Eretz Israel on May 3, 1944. He spent two years with his family and later joined a group of Hanoar Haoved When he was alone in the country, he was a training group for his family and his family, and he became involved in society and work and saw his future in the kibbutz. He served in the “Haemek” Battalion, later in the “Yiftah” Brigade, and participated in the battles of the Beit Shean Valley, retaliation operations in Haifa, and in the Jezreel Valley, in the Jezreel Valley. He was wounded, and on his way to the collection point he was hit by a shell and killed on April 13, 1948. He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Gvat.
