Schreier, Yiftach

Yiftach, son of Yaffa and Ami Schreier, was born together with his twin Yarden, on September 14, 1984. When his enlistment date arrived, in March 2003, there was no doubt that Yiftach would volunteer to serve in the paratroopers. He went through basic training as a fighter. On trips he always volunteered, helped everyone and did not complain about difficulties. Yiftach continued his commanding course, completed successfully and from there on to the officers’ course . When the Lebanon War broke out, it was the most important thing in the army and in life. Yiftach was the first officer of the 101st Battalion who fell in the village of Maroun a-Ras on 26 July 2006. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
