Schneiderfeld, Pinchas


Son of Frida and Misha, was born in January 1932 in the city of Bacau, Romania, and studied in an elementary school in his city. He belonged to the Dror-Habonim youth movement. Pinchas immigrated to Israel on March 24, 1948 and lived in Kfar Sava, where he worked as a farmer. With the end of the battles in the War of Independence, he volunteered, despite his youth, to defend the Jewish Yishuv and set out for a fortification work in the conquered Arab village of Kfar Sava. On the 17th of Elul 5708 (21.9.1948) he was wounded and wounded. He was laid to rest in the Kfar Saba military cemetery.
