Schneider, Hagar


Daughter of Dalia and Haim. Born on December 8, 1970 in Kiryat Haim, she was a beautiful baby, golden-haired and smiling, a girl of sun and sea, a girl of jeans and a T-shirt, smiles and laughter and joy of life. Arlozorov and continued at Kiryat Haim High School. Here, in the heart of Kiryat Haim, which she loved so much, she took her first steps, grew up, learned and matured. A girl who gave herself power in every field. A good student, a beloved daughter and sister, a true friend. Friends found a safe haven and an attentive ear. She was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement and later a mentor – active, energetic, contributing and leading. A girl of a youth movement and a boy, a child of father and mother. At the beginning of December 1988 Hagar was drafted into the IDF and began her service as a novice in the Nahal Brigade. She was later chosen and chose the percentage of command course, successfully completing a course in the field of military service and a platoon as a new recruits. On December 13, 1989, she was buried in the military section of the Tzur Shalom cemetery, leaving behind her two parents, Vashti Sholom, and her parents, Nurses – Naama and Tal In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the unit commander wrote: “Hagar was a responsible and thorough commander, and served as a personal example and contributed greatly to the system and its orders. We share with you our great sorrow, commanders, headquarters, members and members of the unit. “Her family published a booklet in her memory of friends about the character of Hagar:” Here in Kiryat Haim she was born and raised. From here she went to the army. Leading as always, she chose a difficult route, without indulgences. Hagar planned to continue as a NCO in Kibbutz Malkia, dreamed of studying law after the liberation and then left with many dreams, and she blossomed at the height of her flower.
