He served in the headquarters of the Shaked Brigade in the Givati ​​Brigade. Yevgeny was one of the best soldiers in the camp and kept doing what was best for him. On the 20th of Kislev 5765 (20.11.2004), sergeant Yevgeny Shamurk fell during his service at the age of twenty-one and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Ashdod, leaving behind his parents.
