Schlesinger, Eliyahu

He was born in 1911 in Ciechanow, Poland and at the beginning of 1938 he moved to Eretz Israel, joined Kibbutz Ramat Hakovesh and worked in the orchards of Gush Katif, where he found great diligence and joy in his work. On 7 Av (4.8.1938), while returning to his truck, there was an explosion and Eliyahu and seven other passengers were killed. He was twenty-seven years old when he died. He was buried in Ramat Hakovesh. He was 27 years old when he died.
