S”at, Raviv

Raviv, son of Tamar and Ehud S”at, was born in 1966 in Kibbutz Yagur. In November 1985, Raviv was drafted into a compulsory army service, volunteered for the paratroopers and was accepted to the ‘Ravav’ unit. Raviv underwent a difficult and arduous basic training course, embarked on a parachuting course and a Raven course. On the 9th of Sivan (16.6.1986), Raviv fell while carrying out his duties. He died in a road accident near Ma’aleh Efrayim when he traveled with his unit to a military operation in Lebanon. Raviv was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Kibbutz Yagur. Survived by his parents, three sisters and a brother.
