Was born on April 22, 1958, in Moshav Shuba, in the Negev, where he moved to Ashkelon, where he attended elementary school. He was trained in the infantry and first served in the infantry, but as a member of the family, his brother was killed in the Yom Kippur War, Shoshan was transferred to the armored corps where he served in the workshop.
