Sapir Zvi-Aryeh


The only son of Avraham and Elka. He was born on December 3, 1941 in Morphe, Ukraine. The family immigrated to Israel from Romania in 1950. He completed his studies at the Moriah religious elementary school and then studied at the religious vocational school “Merom Zion Yeshiva” until its conclusion. He belonged to the Bnei Akiva youth movement in its “Halutzim” group. He worked in fine mechanics, and even tended to literature and art. He was drafted into the IDF in September 1961. He fell in the line of duty on 18 January 1962 and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
