Sandusi, Shmuel


Son of Miriam and Joseph. Shmuel was born in Safed on December 26, 1951, the eldest of his three sisters. Shmuel graduated from high school. In 1969, Shmuel enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces and served in the Israel Air Force at the Hatzor base. In 1973 Shmuel began working on the Diamond Exchange and engaged in sawing diamonds. In 1975 he married Sarah. The couple had two children, Asi and Miri. In 1979, with the crisis in the diamond industry, Shmuel decided to enlist in the Israel Police. During his service, Shmuel served in management, traffic police and investigations. Shmuel was an introverted, humble and humble man who liked to play soccer and watch soccer games. He enjoyed reading books and loved to travel with his family around the country. His relatives say that Shmuel was an exemplary family man. On the 27th of Nissan 5756 (1946) Shmuel died of cardiac arrest at his home. First Sergeant Shmuel fell during his service. He was thirty-four years old when he fell. He was buried in the military cemetery in Holon. Survived a pregnant wife and two children. About a month and a half after Shmuel’s death, his little son Molly was born
