Samuelsdorf, Reuven

Son of Arik. Reuven was born in Germany on the 17th of Tammuz 5670 (1.7.1920). He grew up in Germany and in 1936 immigrated to Eretz Israel. Reuven was recruited to the Israel Police and served in the Tel Aviv area of his residence. Reuven Samuelsdorf was killed in a car accident in Tel Aviv on 8 Sivan, June 10, 1962, at the age of forty-two, and was laid to rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery in Tel Aviv. Reuven is commemorated at Yad Labanim in his Tel Aviv city and with all the police casualties at the central monument in Kiryat Ata.
