Sameach (Yosef), Yigal

Ben Tamar and Zechariah. He was born on September 22, 1965, in Petah Tikva. He studied at the religious elementary school in Moshav Bareket, in the junior high school at Bnei Akiva ‘Nahalim’ Yeshiva, continued his high school studies in the Petach Tikva High School of Technology, and graduated with honors. During his free time, he practiced two sports: basketball and table tennis. In February 1984 Yigal was drafted into the army and served in the Wingate School for Combat Fitness. After three years of service he was discharged and began to work as an electrician. On May 5, 1990, he fell during his service and was laid to rest in the military section of Moshav Bareket, leaving behind his parents, two sisters – Nira and Ayelet and three brothers – Motti, Gideon and Avichai. : “During his service in the unit Yigal performed his service in the best possible way and showed great responsibility.”
