Salpeter, Ze’ev (Willy)


Son of Bluma and Moshe, was born on December 4, 1924, in the city of Kolomyja, in the Galicia region of Poland, where he attended high school, and when he broke out in the Second World War, Before he was transferred to Kibbutz Mishmar HaEmek, where he studied for half a day and spent half a day working until the end of two years of his Zionist upbringing, from the kibbutz to the city of Tel Aviv, where he studied frameworks and worked in this profession. He was a member of the Haganah and active in the Haganah, and joined the Golani brigade during the War of Independence and participated in battles to protect the settlements of the valley. Dosh battles after the first truce took part in curbing Iraqi attack in the Jenin area and fell to expire, the Gilboa Mountains, on Monday Tammuz Independence (09/07/1948). He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Afula.
