Salomon-Sadeh, Reuven


Son of Bashi and Junjun. He was born in Shirazi in 1922. After leaving his parents, he immigrated to Israel in the early 1950s with his wife and children as part of a pioneering group, and he lived in a transit camp and lived there for a long time. He loved to care for his home and yard, and in the yard of the house he grew and cultivated a Yaffa garden with fruit trees and ornamental flowers, and he built grass and greenery around the house and loved music, especially Hasidic songs, He traveled extensively in Israel and purchased landscape photographs, and he devoted a lot of time to public works and served as a cadet He was recruited to the IDF in mid-May 1959, was placed in the Haganah and went to reserve duty whenever he was called on the 28th of Nissan 5731 (April 23, 1971) A week after he was called to active duty, he fell ill and died of a stroke, and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Ofakim.
