Salomon, Robert

Robert, son of David and Sima Salomon, was born on July 28, 1939 in Pakistan. Robert graduated from elementary school there and immigrated to Israel in 1954 as part of Youth Aliyah. At the Battle of Mandelbaum Gate, on the second day of the fighting, on 6.6.1967, he fell in the shelling when he broke into enemy territory. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
