Salomon, Aharon


Son of Eliyahu Menachem Mendel. He was born in 1900 in the city of Sabin, Romania, and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1919. He was one of the oldest members of the Haganah in Eretz Israel and worked with his father-in-law, Pinhas Margalit. On 29 Kislev, December 8, 1942, when he was on the land of Gush Etzion, the German sector completed the purchase of the land of Kfar Etzion. He was shot and murdered by Arabs who stole his money and watch and cut off his finger to remove his wedding ring. He was laid to rest in the Haganah section of the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery, leaving a wife.
