Salman, Shaul

Son of David and Farah. He was born in Baghdad in 1932. After serving in the Iraqi army for several months, he immigrated to Israel, and soon after his immigration he was drafted into the IDF. Shaul was killed in a battle at the Jordan River near the Sea of ​​Galilee on the 30th of Nisan, 1951. He was buried in the military cemetery at Rosh Pina and on the 19th of Sivan 5712 (12.6.1952) he was laid to rest in the military cemetery Kiryat Shaul.
