Sage, Doron


Son of Rivka and George. Born on December 16, 1965 in Ashkelon, the third son of a family of four. He spent his childhood and youth in Ashkelon. Doron studied at the David Remez Elementary School in Ashkelon and in the “Youth Center” High School in the mechanics track. In the middle of November 1983, Doron was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces and was assigned to the Border Police unit. In the course of his special course he underwent a course for mortar operators and a course for infantry commanders. Doron was loved and loved by all his friends and acquaintances for his great help to others and his kindness. He stood out in his extraordinary beauty. On June 27, 1985, Doron fell in a traffic accident on the Ashkelon-Kiryat Gat road and was brought to eternal rest in Ashkelon Military Cemetery, leaving two parents, Rami and Eyal, and a sister, Ronit. Members of his family commemorated his name on a commemorative plaque in his synagogue in Ashkelon, and his name was also commemorated on a marble slab in the high school where he studied
