Son of-Avraham-Shmuel and Esther-Malka was born on 11 June 1925 in the Old City of Jerusalem, where he moved to the new city and was born to a religious family, He was very proud of this fact, and was already a student of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, first in the Old City and then in the New City, but was very interested in what was going on around him. People who knew him especially noted his ‘iron logic’, as well as the virtues of his decency, and especially the patriotism that raged within him. Stopped his Torah studies, and preliminary exams approached maturity Acstrnit, recorded in the Hebrew University, where he studied for and received a BA in Economics and Political Science, and an MBA. At the end of November 1950 was drafted into the army and was stationed Isaiah Signal Corps. In the reserves he served as a saboteur and a rifleman. During the Six-Day War he was first a rifleman in securing the mortar unit stationed at the Allenby camp, opposite the Old City. After six days of fighting, the unit dealt with clearing mines in the area from Allenby to French Hill, including the Mount of Olives and Mount Scopus. In the Yom Kippur War he was drafted. But when his unit was about to leave Jerusalem, he was told that because of his age the army could not get him out of Jerusalem. He insisted on refusing to leave his unit, but eventually went to serve in the Haganah, where he performed his duties in the best possible manner, as part of the reserve service. He served in the unit of the city of Jerusalem in the Old City of Jerusalem on May 23, 1978. He died at the time of his service and was buried at the Mount of Olives cemetery in Jerusalem.
