Sabach, Eliyahu (Levi)

Son of Simcha and Salim, was born in Syria in 1920 and immigrated to Israel in 1934. During the War of Independence Eliyahu joined the army, served in the Jerusalem Brigade and fell by the Mandelbaum House in Jerusalem on the 6th of Av, August 11, 1948. He was buried in Sheikh Bader Aleph and on August 30, 1950, was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem
