Saadi, Moshe (Moise)

Son of David and Miriam. He was born in 1929 in Turkey and studied in a shoemaking school, and shortly after his arrival in Israel in March 1949, he was drafted into the IDF. He was courageous and ready to go out for any danger and always promoted his attackers with his courage until on the day of the 26th of Tammuz 5713 (9.7.1953), when he was in reserve duty, fell in battle with infiltrators in the vicinity of Jerusalem. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. He left a wife and two children
