Son of Albert and Coke. He was born on December 23, 1943 in Tunis. By the time he reached school he had studied at the French school and David had nothing to do with religion even though his parents had nurtured the feelings of Judaism. At the same time, a law was published in Tunisia that required everyone who passed the matriculation exams to stay in place to study in Arab schools, but he rejected the matriculation exams in order to “escape” “In 1962 he immigrated to Israel and spent eight months in the Dovrat group, where he learned Hebrew, and from the day he joined the IDF in February 1963 he served in the Combat Engineering Corps. Since his discharge from the army, he has lived with his parents in Be’er Sheva and was one of the founders of a youth club whose members were mostly IDF veterans, whose aim was to expand the knowledge of its members in every cultural area, such as theater (the club presented several plays directed by David) , An exhibition of objects and clothes from North Africa, and the club provided tutoring for children without means, and this institution was of great benefit to the residents of Be’er Sheva in particular, and he found his livelihood under the guidance of Be’er Sheva youth. And before calling the flag for the last time he prepared with his friends to set up a new club, but did not get it, because on the ninth day 5767 (June 17, 1967) David fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. In the “City of Beersheba” magazine, in the “Honor for the Fallen – Condolences for Families” section, his memory was raised.
