Son of Rivka and Moshe, was born on April 15, 1963 in Petah Tikva. He was the eldest son of his family. He studied at Hadar Elementary School in Kfar Ganim and later moved to the vocational school “Amal B” where he completed his studies as an equipment technician and controller, and he holds a matriculation certificate. Tzachi was a smiling, sensitive young man who was easily liked by people. He loved helping others and very fond of pets. As a child he aspired to study veterinary medicine so that he could help the domestic animals, but over time he changed his mind and preferred to devote himself to helping people. He loved poetry and loved the country. In August 1981 he enlisted. As a control technician, he was able to serve in the IDF as a rearguard unit, but he preferred to join an elite combat unit, first serving in the naval commando and then serving in the Paratroopers Brigade, where he underwent basic training and, despite his physical limitations, , Tzachi was among the paratroopers who landed in Damur and fought fierce battles there, and he fell in battle during the bombing of the Israel Air Force on the fifth day of the war, on June 10, 1982. For several days he was considered absent until his body was identified. He left behind his parents and two brothers, and the commander of his unit wrote to his family: “Who is like you?
