Ben Galina Wolary. He was born in Moscow, the capital of Russia, and spent most of his life in Russia, where he studied in elementary and high school 331. He completed his studies at the age of eighteen at the beginning of November 1996, Sergey lived alone in Israel, where his grandfather, grandmother and aunt lived, and during his first six months in Israel, he studied at an ulpan in Ma’ale Hachamisha, where he studied for a year at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Then, on September 21, 1999, Sergei enlisted in the IDF. He served in the air force as a security guard and showed responsibility and dedication to his position. On weekends and vacations he would come to Jerusalem and spend time with his relatives and friends. Sergei was a quiet, pleasant man, very sociable and loved by everyone. On the 12th of Cheshvan 5761 (12.11.2000), Sergey fell during his service and he is twenty-two. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by parents and brother. His parents immigrated to Israel a few months after his fall. In his letter of consolation to the bereaved family, the unit’s commander, Lieutenant Colonel Yohanan Shemer, wrote: “Sergey served in my unit for eight months as a security guard, serving as one of the most advanced aircraft and equipment in the world, The enemy, and thus enable the routine activity to be carried out in the base. “Sergey’s patrol, along the fence in the security vehicle, manned observation posts and was part of the 24-hour security force.
