Rubin, Haim Moshe, Yehuda-Levi
Son of Rivka and Yosef Lazar. He was born in 1900 in Safed and later moved with his family to live in Jerusalem, and during the First World War he joined the Jewish Legion – the 38th Battalion of the King’s Rifles in the framework of the British Army which, was intended to participate in the conquest of Eretz Israel from the Turks. On 16 Iyar, May 3, 1920, Chaim Moshe died while performing his duties and was buried in the British military cemetery in Ramle.
