Rotkopf, Chaim


Chaim, son of Avraham and Yocheved Rotkopf, was born in 1936 in Haifa. He was drafted into the IDF in May 1955, served in the Paratroopers Brigade and participated in most retaliation operations before the Sinai Campaign. Chaim fell serving in the Sinai Campaign on 26 Cheshvan, 31.10.1956. He was buried in the emergency military cemetery in Shelach. On 22.11.1957, he was transferred to the military cemetery in Haifa. His name was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book, “The Paratroop Wars.”
