Rothstein, Igor

Igor, son of Larissa and Vladimir Rothstein, was born in Russia on September 10, 1971. He grew up in Russia and immigrated to Israel in 1997. On June 4, 2000, Dr. Igor enlisted in the IDF and served as a military doctor and completed his service with the rank of captain. Igor was killed in a battle in southern Lebanon on August 4, 2006, during the Second Lebanon War, ten days after he was drafted to reserve duty as a doctor of the Golani unit.
