Rothschild, Meir Menachem
Son of Ya’akov and Hadassah. He was born in Petah Tikva on July 29, 1946. When he reached school age, he began his elementary studies at Moriah in Tel Aviv and then moved to Yeshiva in Tel Aviv and completed his elementary studies at Beit- He studied at the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Nativ Meir in Beit-Gan and in the 12th grade he submitted to the Ministry of Education annual work in the history of Israel on the subject of “partition” (as an expression of the attitude of Diaspora Jewry) To the elementary settlement in Palestine between 1810 and 1860). He was one of the best counselors and educators of the Bnei Akiva youth movement. As a well-known religious Jew, he was not afraid of confronting the problems of time. In January 1965 he was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and completed his regular service on the eve of Passover 1967. On the eve of the Six-Day War, he was impressed by the strength of his much older friends.
