Rothenstein, Alexander

Son of Roza and Michael-Makes was born in 1913 in Germany. In 1934 he immigrated to Eretz Israel. At the outbreak of the War of Independence following the UN General Assembly resolution of November 29, 1947, on the division of the country into two states, Alexander was killed while performing his duties in Neve Shalom, Tel Aviv, on the 19th of Adar 5708 (29.2.1948) He was brought to eternal rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery
