Roth, Alexander
Son of Rivka and Moshe. Born in 1911 in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Palestine in 1935, Alexander lived in Nahariya and worked as a builder, and after the outbreak of World War II he enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to one of the infantry battalions, the Jewish Brigade “Ha – Chayyal”. He died of an illness and was laid to rest in the British military cemetery in Haifa on 8 Shvat, February 6, 1944. He left a wife and was remembered in the “Yizkor Book” of the Jabotinsky Institute and in the “Book of the Year” and on the monument to the fallen of Nahariya.
