Rotem (Roitman), Noah (“Nochi”)

Son of Haim and Itka. He was born on August 2, 1947 in Haifa. He attended elementary school at Deganit School in Tivon. After completing his studies, he continued to study at a high school in Kiryat Amal, and at the end of 11th grade, the family was forced to move from his place of residence and study at the Hadera High School, where he enjoyed a good sense of humor. He was a member of the “Yaad” nucleus, where he always wanted to complete the nucleus of Neve-Or in the Beit Shean Valley, and in September 1965 he was drafted into the IDF and volunteered for the paratroopers. And when he came home after the parachutes and he was wearing the red beret and wearing his wings, he said, “Mom, I got all the army out of the army. However, the Six Day War and the battle that took place before the Rafah junction on the first day of the war-fighting, on the 6th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), was hit by a bullet in the head. He was buried in the military emergency cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to the eternal rest of the Hadera military cemetery. In the “thirty” to fall his friends took out pages about him and called them “rest.” Members of the nucleus to which he belonged published a pamphlet in his memory. He remembered his memory in a booklet he had published in his high school in Hadera. He was also mentioned in the booklet “Who Fell in the War” by Hakibbutz Hameuhad.
